The Samoon Foundation is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest skill coaching center, coded SECC02, in the serene and strategically important location of Village Mankatiya, District Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, near the India-Nepal border. This center, which commenced operations on June 2, 2024, is a vital initiative aimed at empowering the local population through comprehensive skill development programs. The SECC02 center is poised to serve as a catalyst for socio-economic progress in this border region, fostering enhanced livelihoods and self-reliance.
Designed to benefit 30 individuals, the SECC02 center offers a diverse range of vocational and technical training courses. These programs are specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the local job market, ensuring that the beneficiaries acquire relevant and practical skills. The center’s primary objective is to equip the residents of Village Mankatiya and surrounding areas with the tools they need to secure meaningful employment and improve their economic standing.
The center is under the proficient guidance of Ms. Sonia Kohali, who serves both as the trainer and the program coordinator.
