The Samoon Foundation proudly announces the opening of its newest skill development center, coded SSDC11, in the picturesque Village of Sour, Patti Bharpoor, District Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This center, which officially opened its doors on June 24, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to empower local communities through targeted skill enhancement programs. The SSDC11 center is strategically positioned to serve the residents of Sour and its surrounding areas, providing them with valuable opportunities to improve their livelihoods.
The SSDC11 center is designed to benefit more then 30 individuals, offering a comprehensive array of vocational and technical training programs. These programs are meticulously crafted to meet the specific needs of the local job market, ensuring that the beneficiaries acquire practical and relevant skills. The primary aim of this initiative is to enable participants to secure better employment opportunities, thereby enhancing their economic well-being and fostering self-sufficiency.
Under the expert guidance of Ms. Sanjana, the center’s dedicated trainer, the beneficiaries will receive high-quality training that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. Ms. Sanjana’s extensive experience and passion for skill development ensure that each participant receives personalized attention and support, maximizing their learning outcomes. Her commitment to excellence is a cornerstone of the center’s success.
The smooth and efficient operation of the center is overseen by Mr. Bijendra Kumar, the program coordinator.
